🔴 New: In #Agadir, construction of Africa’s largest seawater desalination plant and the Mediterranean basin is completed, combining the production of drinking water with water water.
In the first phase, the plant will have a capacity of 275,000 cubic meters per day, of which 150,000 cubic meters are directed at drinking water.
It will benefit from the drinking water that has been desalinated at the plant, which is inhabited by some 1.6 million people in Greater Agadir.
The plant will allow 15,000 hectares of agricultural land to be purified and will preserve 15 million jobs in the Ashtouka Ait Baha area.
The plant will therefore contribute to the provision of drinking water to the population and will develop the agricultural economy.
Monitoring for the completion of this project a financial cover of 383 billion cents.
