The Western Mediterranean Port of Nador project is one of the most important projects currently being completed in Morocco. With a large capacity of 3.5 million containers per year, The Port will enter the world.
The port will easily enter the world’s 60 or 50 most active ports after exploitation, and will compete with Africa’s second and third most active ports, the largest port in South Africa and the largest port of BourSaid in Egypt.
In its first phase, the port of Nador West Mediterranean will contain a 4,300-meter-long main port barrier, a 1,200-meter secondary port barrier, a 1,520-meter container pier capable of receiving large container ships, a 600-meter jetty for large commercial vessels, and three oil materials centers for oil and chemical vessels with a capacity of up to 170,000 tons.
This boat will also include a 360-metre private jetty for various bulk solids, as well as a 360-metre truck and crane pier and a 360-metre service pier.
The capacity of the various docks related to the first phase of this new port will reach 3.5 million containers, 25 million tons of fuel, 7 million tons of solids and 3 million tons of various goods.
The Nadori port will turn the region into a kiss for international companies wishing to invest and export from the impressive geographically positioned Nador platform.
Works related to the construction of the port are expected to be completed by the end of the second half of 2022.
